Mr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy is the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Infotech Enterprises Limited, Hyderabad. He was born on 12th October 1950.Mr Reddy is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering and has two Masters degrees: one in Management Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA and another in Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.Mr Reddy has over thirty years of engineering and management experience, most of it in the IT industry. He began his career with DCM Group; then moved to MICO BOSCH and later joined Hindustan Computers Ltd (now HCL). Later, Mr Reddy worked as the Managing Director of OMC Computers which was promoted by Voltas Ltd and Dr Raj Reddy - the world renowned computer scientist from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburg who brought in the futurist technology for India (CAD/CAM). Mr. Mohan Reddy is acknowledged to have pioneered the CAD/CAM culture in India.With this entrepreneurial experience Mr Reddy promoted Infotech Enterprises Ltd. (1991-92) and holds its helm of affairs as its Chairman & Managing Director. Infotech Enterprises was founded in 1991 as a Technology Services and Solutions company. It has now a strength of 4000 Engineering and Software professionals across 22 global locations. It is a CMMi Level 5 and ISO 9001:2000, AS9100 company and Publicly traded company. In the past, Mr. Reddy has held offices as President of Electronics Industries Association of Andhra Pradesh (ELIAP); Hyderabad Software Exporters’ Association(HYSEA); and As Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry(CII), Andhra Pradesh Chapter.He now serves as Member on the Executive Council of National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) and on Advisory Councils of many Institutions. Mr. Reddy has led many initiatives with his forethought and vision for the benefit of the IT Industry in particular with his involvement with associations like CII, NASSCOM, HYSEA, ELIAP etc. Over the years Mr. Reddy has received many honors and accolades in recognition of his services and entrepreneurial skills.Mr. Reddy believes and says “unless you can walk your talk, you can never be an outstanding leader”.
